| Description: |
The Company's priority project is evaluating the
development of the Browns copper, cobalt, nickel oxide resource
which overlies a major polymetallic sulphide deposit. Approximately
2.8 million tonnes of oxide ore is available for treatment at
Browns and a further 3.9 million tonnes at the nearby Area 55
and Mt. Fitch prospects |
| Location: |
Batchelor, NT |
| Project Status: |
Development studies and public environmental report
currently underway. Project construction decision expected late
2005 or early 2006. With production scheduled for fourth quarter
in 2006. |

| Description: |
Lying beneath the Browns oxide resource is a sulphide
deposit comprised of copper, lead, cobalt, nickel and silver
totalling 36.7 million tonnes. It is formed of a copper lens
of 14.3 million tonnes at 0.96% copper, 3.0% lead, 0.13% cobalt,
0.11% nickel and a lead lens of 22.3 million tonnes at 5.9%
lead, 0.2% copper, 0.10% cobalt and 0.08% nickel. |
| Location: |
Batchelor, NT |
| Project Status: |
Prefeasibility studies show an attractive project
at a scale of plus 1 million tonnes per year.
Development is planned to follow oxide mining operations |
Project: |
Mt.
Fitch South, Mt. Fitch North |
| Description: |
Three drill holes have intersected a new blind
deposit located 8 kilometres northwest of Browns at Mt. Fitch
South. Intercepts in the last hole drilled include 16 metres
at 0.9% copper, 3.9% lead, 0.2% cobalt and 0.2% nickel; 16 metres
at 7.5% lead; and 6 metres at 0.3% copper, 1.5% lead, 1.1% cobalt,
0.5% nickel.
At the Mt. Fitch North Prospect 2% copper was recorded over
14 metres. |

Exploration and resource delineation. |
Project: |
Batchelor region uranium prospects |
| Description: |
In September 2005, Compass announced it had identified
eight high potential uranium prospects, with the highest priority
for exploration assigned to Mt Fitch, Kylie and Rum Jungle East
prospects. |
